To do our best is a profound act of dignity

We strive, toil, and push ourselves to the limits of our capabilities. Yet, in the end, there is a point where our influence ends and the vast, unknowable workings of the universe take over.

This is where faith enters — not as a passive surrender but as an active acknowledgement of our human limitations.

“To bring one’s self to a frame of mind and to the proper energy to accomplish things that require plain hard work continuously is the one big battle that everyone has. When this battle is won for all time, then everything is easy.” — Thomas A. Buckner

To do our best is a profound act of dignity. It means facing our fears, confronting our weaknesses, and channelling our strengths toward meaningful ends.

We put forth effort not because we are certain of the outcome but because trying itself gives shape and purpose to our existence.

But what of the results? Here lies the beauty of entrusting the rest to a higher power, whether one calls it God, fate, or the cosmic order. This trust liberates us from the crushing weight of total responsibility.

It allows us to find peace amid uncertainty and maintain hope when our efforts seem insufficient.

We find a path to ambition and serenity within a delicate balance between action and acceptance.

We honour our potential by striving and honour the vastness of existence by knowing when to let go.

This is not weakness but wisdom-a recognition that we are both powerful and small, capable of great things yet always part of something greater than ourselves.
