Not everyone is ready to face their need for growth

We sometimes outgrow those we love

Growth, whether personal, professional, or spiritual, is like climbing a mountain. As you ascend, the landscape changes, the air thins, and the view transforms.

However, one often overlooked truth is that not everyone is meant to reach the summit with you.

When you embark on a journey of growth, you begin to evolve. Your mindset shifts, priorities realign, and you start embracing new perspectives.

Yet, this transformation can be uncomfortable, not just for you but for the people around you. Sometimes, when you grow, you outgrow.

Let’s face it — humans are creatures of habit. We crave stability, routine, and the comfort of the familiar. When you begin to grow, this natural need for comfort is disrupted.

You may no longer align with old patterns, conversations, or behaviours. People who once felt at home may find it difficult to resonate with their new version of themselves. And that’s okay.

As we evolve, we might realise that certain relationships are anchored in who we were, not who we are becoming.

This can feel like shedding old skin — a natural, necessary, yet painful process. And often, the friction in relationships simply reflects two people…
