Poem: stay for the night; miss your flight!

I miss my flight, and I’m here to stay
I might’ve missed the chance to fly away

It’s not what I had planned, but I’m not dismayed
For I know that I can still find my way

I’m determined, and I’m strong; I will carry on
No matter how long I’m here, I’ll still be strong

I’ll stay for the night, and I’ll write a poem
My words will be bright, and they’ll always roam

No matter my fate, I will never forget
The beauty of this place and all that I’ve met

Though I must stay, I shall never bemoan
And when I go, I’ll still take this poem.
