To grow as a person, one must gain empathy for others and a more positive outlook on life.

When I think about what inspires me to write, I’ve concluded that it originates from a place of great anguish and frustration.

I am less interested in compassion now that I have understood that suffering is not a gift saved for a select few but a universal experience shared by all individuals.

Perhaps I am terrified of returning to the pain I had as a kid, so as an adult, I have condensed most of what I have to say into a collection of “Better Perspectives” for you. Pain helps me comprehend the concept of reciprocity.

It’s not a new idea, but you may have never considered it from this perspective. You may either be better or bitter after a painful event. Choose better.

To grow as a person, one must gain empathy for others and a more positive outlook on life.

Armed with them, you will be able to provide more incredible things to the world, something that will transcend your pain.

However, be aware that they arrive in pieces and are not simple to offer, so be patient and kind.
